REST THROUGH FAITH 2

REST THROUGH FAITH 2 MEMORY VERSE: - 1John 5:4 - "…..And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”. 1 John 5:4. One among the fundamentals of victory of the believer is the weapon of faith, for in every victory there is a battle and in every battle there must be faith in action thus we experience victory and rest through faith.  In our text John clearly states that the believer overcomes the world through Faith. There can be no victory outside faith for it is through faith that we conquer, we subdue, and daily live victoriously by exercising our faith.  Faith is our anchor, our strength, our drive. Faith is a product of God’s consciousness in us. It is the response of the heart to God's promises. Faith is knowing who God really is; and that He will certainly do what he says He will do no matter how everything around you is showing hopelessness.  Faith is a force that keeps you going even when everything around you is proving impossible to reach your goal

MANASSEH

MANASSEH MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 41:51 - "And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house". When rest comes, it silences many years of toiling because of so much abundance it brings and it gives you a unique peace and tranquility. Truly, when God brings in His abundance, you will forget your years of toiling. Joseph went through so much struggle and at a point, there was no sign that the dream God gave him was going to materialize. All around him was hopelessness and confusion but God's grace prevailed for him and brought him into rest. Wherefore, Joseph called his first born son, 'Manasseh'.... "For God, hath made me forget all my toiling". Understand this child of God, that it doesn't matter what things you are going through today, no matter how everything may seem dark and gloomy, no matter the struggles you are facing, one thing is certain, God will bring

REST IN THE PRESENCE OF YOUR ENEMIES

REST IN THE PRESENCE OF YOUR ENEMIES MEMORY VERSE: - Psalms 23:5 - "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:...." 'REST' is when God blesses you, take you to higher levels, increase you and enlarge your boarders before your enemies.... That means, the enemies tried all their best to harm you or stop you but they failed. Wherefore, in spite of all they did or are doing, you are still waxing strong and moving forward. Also, 'REST' is when God is fighting your battles for you and you are holding your peace. Exodus 14:14. ... "The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” As you trust Him to fight for you, he takes over and you become an observer of events of the war while the Lord takes care of it for you.  He is the captain of the host, the one who never looses any battle, the mighty man in battle. Psalm 18:29 : "For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall." Truly, It h

REST IN CHRIST 5

REST IN CHRIST 5 MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 10:10 - "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." By the entrance of the new year, a new seas has been birthed. Now, what are your expectations in this new season, and what kind of words are you speaking to align yourself with it. If you do not align your words with your expectations, you will not get the kind of results you anticipated to see and you may not be able to enter into Christ rest. As a child of God the words you speak are not ordinary or empty words but are carrying power. It is spiritual and has life essentials in it. It's exactly what Jesus said it is in John 6:63, "The words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life" Certainly, there's no empty words, your words carry power, it is the driver of your life. The scripture in Proverbs 18:21 tells us that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who lov

REST IN CHRIST 4

REST IN CHRIST 4 MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 5:28-29 - "When Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two years old, he became the father of a son. He named him Noah, saying, “This one shall bring us rest and comfort from our work and from the [dreadful] toil of our hands because of the ground which the Lord cursed” (AMP). For anyone to enjoy REST, what they do and the words they speak matters. Every word we speak must be right and positive in order for it to produce positive results and cause us to enjoy rest. Our text made us to understand that the generation of old went through difficult times, they knew what it means to toil. They had experienced working without headway. They had been through difficulties in business wherefore, they hungered for REST . They were tired of struggles of life that didn't allow them to live the victorious life and thus Lamech expressed his deepest heart desire in the name he gave his son...... 'NOAH' By calling him Noah, he prophesied the future

REST IN CHRIST 3

REST IN CHRIST 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 11:28 - "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Now, Jesus calls out to all that are burdened and are wearied to come into His rest. This invitation to the realm of rest is the key that silences all struggles of life. It's an invitation to stop carrying heavy burdens of life all by yourself but to hand them over to Him and in exchange, you get REST. He is saying stop doing business with human wisdom that fails, come to me and receive Divine wisdom that will set you apart and put you ahead of your contemporaries. Listen, burdens are heavy weight that will not allow you to move forward nor rise. Burdens wearies you, frustrates you and keep you stagnated. Jesus wants you to rise and be moving upward in life thus the call to hand over your burdens to him. Understand that anytime you're doing things by your own strength, it drains you. It wearies you and becomes a burden to you. Now, to b

DAILY BENEFITS

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational DAILY BENEFITS MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 68:19 - "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation." Our text does not say that our heavenly Father gives us benefits monthly or annually, or when the need arises, but rightly said, 'Daily'. That is to say, every day of our lives we are given lots and lots of benefits. We simply have to believe and key into what's ours. Because our heavenly Father daily load us with benefits, Jesus in Matthew 6:11 taught us about asking the father for daily benefits..... "Give us this day our daily bread". So the next time you pray “Give us this day our daily bread”, think about all the benefits God has already promised to provide to you. Therefore, according to God's divine order, we are slated for daily benefits. No day is without a benefit stored up for you and I. These benefits include His lovingkindness, His goodness, His provision, His protection, His he
