SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

Image
SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 10:19- “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you" Jesus knew He was leaving the world to return back to the father in heaven but He wasn't going to leave his followers unequipped knowing that the world is full of wickedness and evil. So, before His departure He gave them authority and power.  Wherefore, the scripture in Luke 9:1 says, "When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases." This authority and power was not just to His apostles only, but also to all who will believe through their gospel, which includes you and I. So, Jesus did not leave behind a powerless Church when He ascended back to heaven, on the contrary, He put divine authority in their hands and gave them power over all things. Every believer has power and authority over everything; be it princ

CHOOSE LIFE TO LIVE

CHOOSE LIFE TO LIVE MEMORY VERSE: - Deuteronomy 30:19 - "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" All over the world people are glamouring for freedom to do whatever they want, to live however they like and feel. They are seeking for human legal rights to be passed into law for them to do whatever they want to do. However, true freedom is not in us doing whatever we want or living however we feel but in living in accordance with God's word. And life is all about choice, wherefore, as God's children, we have God's word to guide us through life.  There are also enticing things of the ungodly out there inviting us to do as the world does. But we have the right to choose which way to turn. Wherefore, the scripture says, "I set before you this day life and death.... Chose life that you may live" (Deuteronomy 30:15,

ENJOYING CHRIST PEACE

Image
ENJOYING CHRIST PEACE MEMORY VERSE: - Acts 9:31 - "Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a time of peace. It grew in strength and numbers, living in the fear of the Lord and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit" We were rightly informed in the scripture how Paul troubled the church in the early revival after the resurrection of Christ. How he was the one that supervised the killing of Steven and also whom the people submitted their clothes afterwards.  But on his way to Damascus to arrest every believer and imprison them, he had an encounter with Jesus and that turned the whole situation around for the Church. Wherefore, at the salvation of Saul who later became Paul, the Church had peace.  The Lord shall trouble those who trouble, He will cut off the enemies of your peace and joy and give you peace and rest. It doesn't matter what you are going through right now, the Lord will give you peace and rest from it all. A lot of people get worried

BE SENSITIVE TO GOD'S VOICE 3

BE SENSITIVE TO GOD'S VOICE 3 MEMORY VERSE: - John 10:27 - "27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" When all you focus on is the challenges around you, you can't hear God's voice nor can you receive the instructions that will take you out of your mess. Our case study, 'the widow of Zarephath' was well informed about Elijah's coming, maybe in a vision or dream but she missed it due to allowing her situation to crowd her mind.  Understand that whenever God is dealing with matters like this, He always transmits the information to both parties either in a dream, a vision or by speaking audibly to one's spirit. We see this happened in the case of Paul and Ananias in Acts 9:10-12, The Lord spoke to Ananias in a vision concerning Paul and also showed Paul a vision about Ananias. As a result, Paul was aware that someone called Ananias was coming to pray for him and Ananias was also aware that he was going to meet Paul to pray for

PRESSING INTO THE SPIRITUAL FOR AN ENCOUNTER

PRESSING INTO THE SPIRITUAL FOR AN ENCOUNTER MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:3-4 - " [3] he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee. [4] And he must needs go through Samaria." When the scripture says 'He must ' it means He is obliged to do so, it is of necessity or very important. In order word, no matter what, Jesus can't resist or cut off from going to Samaria because something that has been divinely programmed which the devil had hijacked for a long time was about to be taken out of his hold and reposition in the right place as ordained by the Lord.  Something was about to happen in that land - Someone's life, someone's expectation, someone's hunger for God's intervention, someone's heartfelt prayer and cry for a change, someone that has been pressing into God for deliverance was pulling Him to come to Samaria. And thus 'He must' go through her. And that person is known as the Samaritan woman. Although, there was no record of her real

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational  PRESSING INTO THE SPIRITUAL FOR AN ENCOUNTER 2 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:3-4 - "[3] he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee. [4] And he must needs go through Samaria." Jesus must go through Samaria because the heart cry of a child of God for help has reached the ears of her heavenly Father and it was her time of visitation, her time of salvation, her time of deliverance, and her time to embrace destiny. I believe that right inside of the inner most being of the woman of Samaria, she knew she was better than the person she had become. She could feel it and maybe see in her dreams her God given destiny but she was trapped in error that was locking her out of it and she wanted to break away from it all. But on that faithful day that Jesus must go through Samaria was for her sake. It was a day of answered prayer, a day of breaking out of the snare of the Fowler, a day of breaking forth in destiny.  Wherefore, for the sake of this woman of Samar

BE SENSITIVE TO GOD'S VOICE 2 MEMORY VERSE: - John 10:27 - "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:" In part one, we saw that the Lord told Elijah that he had already commanded the widow of zarephath to feed him, but unfortunately for the widow she didn't hear nor recognise the voice of the Lord. How do I know this? Because of the response of the widow when she was asked to bring him bread. After asking for water to drink and without hesitation, the woman was going to get it, Elijah then pushed further to ask the widow, “And please bring me some bread, too.” and so "she answered, “By the living Lord your God I swear that I haven't got any bread. All I have is a handful of flour in a bowl and a drop of olive oil in a jar. I came here to gather some firewood to take back home and prepare what little I have for my son and me. That will be our last meal, and then we will starve to death." By this response, it was obvious that this wid
