REST THROUGH FAITH 4


MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 14:13 - "Moses said to the people,Then “Do not be afraid! Take your stand [be firm and confident and undismayed] and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for those Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see again" (AMP).

The Lord warned against Fear. Fear is opposite of faith and will stand as a resistance to your entering into rest. He also admonished us to be undismayed. That is, don't be discouraged, don't be distressed, and don't worry over anything nor feel sad about any unpleasant circumstance. Such things comes as a result of fear.

But instead of giving in to discouragement and destress, we should have faith in our heavenly Father who alone has the ability to help us and we should always remember that He is in control over the affairs of our lives and he will never abandon us. Listen, we are never alone, the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are ever with us through the Holy Spirit.

So be unmovable, remain steadfast in faith while you rest on His Word. He never fails, He is trustworthy and Faithful. Focus your mind on God’s Word of truth for whosoever that focuses on the Word is indestructible.
 
Therefore, to enter into Christ rest, we must be firm in faith and have confidence in the unchanging and unfailing Word of God and continually give Him glory. Even as Abraham did, who having received the promise, gave glory to Him even when all around shows impossible because He counted Him faithful. 

PRAYER 
Holy Father, I bless your name and I lay my life in worship. From this day forward, I refuse to fear, I refuse to be dismayed. I put my whole trust in you in Jesus name, Amen
