 THE IMAGE OF GOD 

MEMORY VERSE - “Let us make mankind in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion…... And so God created man in His image; in the image of God created He him, male and female created He them” (Genesis 1: 26, 27). 

What is this image of God in the human nature? Is it in the physical structure, Is it in the colour of our skin or could it be found in the size of our body,? Not at all.

The image of God in humanity is the traits of God, His qualities, His characteristics, His attributes, and His nature. It is the essentials of God imparted in humans. It is God’s kind of life, the ZOE life, His DNA in the human nature.

You're more than who you see in the mirror. Your body is a structure, a container, a vessel that houses the spiritman bearing the image of God. What makes you exist is the spirit in you. Your real personality is the spirit in you, and that is the man or woman of the image of God.

While created things are proves of God's power and creativity, we are created to be the revelation of his nature, of his glory and characteristics on earth. As one created in the image of God, you are to image out His image in you to the world.


PRAYER

Lord I am so grateful to be made in your image and as one created with your glorious essentials, I begin to image out God’s life in me. I begin to live the glorious and victorious life in Jesus’ name, Amen

Wherefore, Christ has enabled us to be children of God by the Spirit not of laws (religion). The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life. KEEP YOUR PRAYER FLAME BURNING MEMORY VERSE: - Leviticus 6:12 - "The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out....." If there's anything the devil does not want you to do; it is to pray and if there's anything he wants you to do its to not pray. He will do anything to distract you from praying because he knows what prayer power is for you and what it does to him. Prayer is the power that turns things around in your favor, it causes a tremendous change in your circumstances, it makes the impossible to become possible in your life. It's a pity that some people are too lazy to pray, whilst some are too busy to find time to pray. Listen, he or she that doesn't pray is empty and fireless.
