BEWARE OF MURMURING

MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 15:23 - 24 “When they came to Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah. And the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

Severally, we have experienced and enjoyed God's numerous blessings in our lives which has brought us Joy; however, most times when we are faced with new challenges, we are quick to forget God’s faithfulness.

The Lord had just led the Israelites across the Red Sea three days earlier, they saw His marvelous works of parting the red sea whereby they walked in the dry land._ _They also saw the Egyptians swallowed up by same red sea, yet, they were quick to murmur against God when they encountered the situation of the bitter water.

 How quickly they forgot and assumed God couldn’t handle their current need. Oh, how we are quick to forget all that God has helped us with when situations arises. Rather than thanking God for His mercies and kindness that sustained and helped us thus far, We are quick to grumble and Murmur and speak arrogantly against Him, choosing rather to live in anxiety and murmuring. The scripture in Philippians 2:14 admonished us, "Do everything without complaining and arguing"

We do not trust Him to help us like He did before because we are short-sighted. Thus, we easily forget how faithful God has been. Moreover, we want things done in our way and time. We must understand that God doesn’t work on our timetable and he often works in ways that are far beyond our understanding, so it's important that we trust in His timing. Trust Him no matter what.

 PRAYER

 Thank you, Heavenly Father, for all your blessings in my life. This day, I ask that you forgive all the murmurings I have done against you, and in any way I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me in Jesus name, Amen.

  AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY 2 MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 3:6 - “He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” Like I said in the part one of this topic, Jesus did not come to bring another religion but to bring sons and daughters unto the Father.  Religion is nothing but an ideology, but relationship and family is the real thing. Wherefore, Christ has enabled us to be children of God by the Spirit not of laws (religion). The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life. Living in religion kills but being a man or woman of relationship gives life.
