 GIVE HIM NO REST

MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 62: 6, 7 - “…Ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”


We are commanded to pray. God’s people must be a praying people and must be earnest in prayer. God is never displeased with us for being earnest or persistent in prayers. We are to persist with Him as Jacob did, and not let him go without receiving the blessing. 


We are to be demanding , determined, unrelenting with him, as the widow with the unjust judge did in Luke 18:1; Yes! We are to be ceaseless, unremitting, nonstop and never give up in prayer. Just as Paul admonished us to “Pray without ceasing” in 1Thess. 5:17.


What is it that have been a burden to you? What is that dream, that desire, that hope, that vision that seem as though there is no hope of realizing them? Perhaps you have given up on them, now it's time to wake up and return back to the blue print and give God no rest until He establishes you.


We should never give up nor resign ourselves to what is happening around us. Rather we must pray until the power of God turns our situation around for His glory and for our joy. God is not unreasonable, and He has blessed us with everything we need in the spiritual but we need to bring the reality of what has been done into the physical realm. If we do not give up in prayers but persistently pray in faith, we will surely receive what we want.


Certainly, we will receive more than our request for God is able, yes, He is more than able to give us beyond what we ask or think. As it is written, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to his power that worketh in us” Eph. 3:20. So, for the reason that God is able to do beyond, more than, super abundantly, and far above our request, therefore give Him no rest until your change comes.


PRAYER

Father in heaven how we love you, we exalt your holy name for you are great and greatly to be praised. This day I pray for grace to be ceaseless in prayers in Jesus’ name, Amen
