GENERATIONAL REWARD

MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 112:2 - "Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed"

The righteous is not Blessed alone but his or her generation are wrapped up in the blessings. I love this line where our text says, "the generation of the upright will be blessed" It pays to be a child of God. He has brought us into His Divine family to enjoy continuous blessings.

When we genuinely worship God in spirit and in truth, we enjoy generational reward. Certainly, no one who worships God in spirit and truth is left unrewarded. God rewards up to generations yet unborn.

Regarding Enoch in Genesis 5:24, the scripture says. "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Now, the phrase 'He was not' means he did not die, God took him alive to live with Him in heaven.

Now, while Enoch was rewarded with life with God in heaven, his son Methuselah was the longest ever lived in human history. He enjoyed the benefits that followed his Father's worship to God. Wherefore, the scripture says, "......And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died." (Genesis 5:27).

Truly, all who genuinely worshipped and served the Almighty God were rewarded greatly. Our father of faith Abraham, was rewarded handsomely. His son Isaac was blessed as a result of the promised God made to his father. (See Genesis 26:1-5). And the reward continued in Jacob and to the generation of Israel and to those of us in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, being in right standing with the father in fellowship is all gain for you.... A great gain that goes far beyond you but to many generations to come.... It's a circle of unending blessing till eternity.

So, as a child of God, you are in the Abrahamic covenant blessings in Christ. It doesn't matter what you are going through now, certainly, all that is bound to change as you lay hold on that which is yours in Christ eternal blessings and reward for you and grab all that is yours.



 PRAYER

Jesus we love you and thank you for your graciousness. You o Lord is a great rewarder, cause me and my household to enjoy your generational reward, Amen.

KEEP YOUR PRAYER FLAME BURNING MEMORY VERSE: - Leviticus 6:12 - "The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out....." If there's anything the devil does not want you to do; it is to pray and if there's anything he wants you to do its to not pray. He will do anything to distract you from praying because he knows what prayer power is for you and what it does to him. Prayer is the power that turns things around in your favor, it causes a tremendous change in your circumstances, it makes the impossible to become possible in your life. It's a pity that some people are too lazy to pray, whilst some are too busy to find time to pray. Listen, he or she that doesn't pray is empty and fireless.
