The heavenly Father has given us of His Holy Spirit help us through life journey. But most of us are not walking by Him thus He is not influencing all we do. Walking by the spirit is living a life that is influenced by the Spirit. It is living your life in the continual guidance of the Spirit of God. So, there shouldn't be a moment when we are left on our own. We are to build our relationship with the Holy Spirit and be daily guided by Him. If we are overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit we will not have room for any other forces to manipulate. The scripture says, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
