THEY SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER 1

MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Timothy 3:8-9 - "Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was."


One of the rights that Christ gave to us which most believers ignore is 'Authority'. They prefer to beg God to do for them what He has given them the right and power to do. In His words, Jesus said, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you." (Luke 10:19).

Authority is 'the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.' The believer must enforce obedience in the place where things are not going well, they must force the enemy out in the place where they are oppressing them, they must subdue the powers that have taken over their territories that they may reign in life.

Listen, the enemy may have been doing stuffs in your life before now and they may have succeeded in some way but now it's time to put a stop to it, it's time to let them know that they shall no longer proceed any further in your life, family, business or career. They have stood against good things coming to you for too long but now, you cannot allow them to continue.

You must arise and stop the enemy from proceeding further in your life. The power of God in you must be activated. Therefore, awake unto authority and take charge and turn things around in your life. 

Do not fold your hands and watch the enemy steal your joy, stop them from proceeding further. Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:14 said, ".....Awake you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light." Certainly, you have to wake up and stop the enemies before they stop you.


PRAYER

 Father I am grateful for your love and in the name of Jesus I declare that the wicked shall not proceed any further, I command you workers of iniquity to cease your operations in my life, Amen.

The heavenly Father has given us of His Holy Spirit help us through life journey. But most of us are not walking by Him thus He is not influencing all we do. Walking by the spirit is living a life that is influenced by the Spirit. It is living your life in the continual guidance of the Spirit of God. So, there shouldn't be a moment when we are left on our own. We are to build our relationship with the Holy Spirit and be daily guided by Him. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites" (NIV). Our text today shows us the end of one era and the beginning of a new one. The death of Moses marks an end to an era and the emergence of Joshua marks the beginning of a new one.
