OVERCOMING DOUBT


MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 21:21 - "Jesus answered them, "I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will be done."

Doubt is a doorway through which satan enters your life. It causes the 'fight of faith' to become the 'flight of fear'. When fear, confusion, discouragement and despair take up residence within you, they rob you of confidence, joy and peace. 

Many are praying or making declarations out of doubt.... They pray long prayers but with no atom of faith in it. Listen, it is not about how many prayer points you pray or about praying long hours but about the faith in your prayers that determines the results you will get.

Jesus spoke to the fig tree few words in authority and never bothered about it but continued his journey. The fig tree didn't dry up immediately, but in the process of time the fig tree dried up. And by the time they passed through that road again, the tree had dried up. 

And he told us that if we do not Doubt what we declare but have faith we will certainly have results, even more than what was done to the fig tree. When you pray in faith, you speak that which you want to see happen believing that it shall be so and have peace within you.

In such faith prayer, you fix your mind on the results not on the issue and see things as you desire to see them in your mind. You don't get worried whether it will work or not but relax in the power of the Holy Spirit that is working on your declaration. Every faith empowered prayer produces awesome results.

Doubting is satan's ploy to keep one out of God's blessings for them. Understand that except one believes, they cannot receive anything from God. When one doubts, it reveals a lack of confidence in what God says. One who doubts cannot receive anything from God. 

PRAYER
Thank you Lord for giving me victory over doubt and today I tap into that victory and I overcome doubt in the name of Yeshua, Amen!
