AVOID DIVERSIONS

MEMORY VERSE: - Jonah 1:3 - "But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the LORD by sailing to Tarshish” (NLT)

One of the ways the devil is using to rub many people of their blessing is through diversions. The Lord gave a message to Jonah to go to the city of Nineveh and announce his judgment against it because of their wickedness but Jonah chose not to go, instead he went another way and his own way the scripture says was the "Opposite Direction."

Oftentimes, people choose to go the opposite direction against God's original agenda for them when things are not going as planned. When vision is being delayed and when they are hit with challenges and difficulties in the process of trying to achieve what they were given to do.

In the opposite direction is confusion.... In the opposite direction is struggle and hardship.... In the opposite direction is out of destiny and away from God. Many are going to the opposite direction by following crowd.... Doing what's general.... Not following what the Lord has instructed them to do.

Distraction is in the opposite direction... Frustration is what you find in the opposite direction.... Rejection and limitations are all in the opposite direction.

For every divine assignment there's a specific instruction. When one is not working in his or her specified area, they are diverted to doing something else. Stay focused on your duty and be committed to it no matter how terrible things may be going.


PRAYER

Thank you Father for your loving kindness. Every manipulating forces assigned to divert me to the opposite direction, I cut you off in Jesus name, Amen.
