CHOOSE YOUR ASSOCIATE WISELY

MEMORY VERSE: - 1 Corinthians 15:33 - "Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

The people you hang out with matters. To have a positive life, you must be around positive people. To enjoy a successful life, you need to hang out with successful people. We are influenced by the people with whom we associate with.

Putting yourself amongst wrong sort of people who are unserious with their life, who are loafers, lazy, indiscipline, purposeless, dreamless, certainly, they will influence you and bring you down to their level. Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with the wise will become wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed."

You can see from this verse that companionship rubs on you. If you associate with, listen to, and learn from wise people, then you also will become wise. Certainly, when you walk with the wise, you will gain wisdom by association. But if you hang around fools you will not only become foolish but will be ruined. 

The Message Bible version puts Proverbs 13:20 this way, "Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces." The fool has no future ambition or plans. He or she wastes his opportunities and destroys whatever that is delivered into his or her hands to build.. 

You are the company you keep. You can't continue to associate with the wrong sort of people and expect a change in your life. You must break off and reposition yourself for a better you and a great life. Therefore, choose your friends wisely.


PRAYER 

Thank you Father for another opportunity to glorify you in my life. Today, I receive wisdom to choose my associates in my life. in Jesus name, Amen.

If there's anything the devil does not want you to do; it is to pray and if there's anything he wants you to do its to not pray. He will do anything to distract you from praying because he knows what prayer power is for you and what it does to him. Prayer is the power that turns things around in your favor, it causes a tremendous change in your circumstances, it makes the impossible to become possible in your life.
