THE BLESSED MAN


MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 112:1, 2 - "Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed."

The psalmist in Psalm 1: 1-3, brought to us the secret of being fruitful in life, he revealed that the blessed man or woman is the person that delights in the word of God, and also meditates on the word day and night. 

The truth is that everyone wants to be fruitful in life. And now, we are being given the secret key to true fruitfulness. Firstly, it is in "The fear of the Lord" This is not a worldly way of fear, but for the believer, the fear of the Lord is something much different, it is reverence of God. It is a recognition of God's Awesome Power, Greatness, Splendour and Majesty.

Secondly, it is in "The Word of God." When you have the Word in you, then the power of the Word takes over you and begins to work in your life by giving wisdom, direction, strategies on how to go about things.

Through the power of the Word, we are able to do the unusual, the uncommon, the extra ordinary things that will cause us to begin to experience fruitfulness and prosperity on every side.

Therefore, for one to be in such a state of fruitfulness, he or she must be given completely to the wholesome Word of God. Taking in and meditating in the Word of God will cause one to be outstanding in all aspects of life.

Furthermore, the Psalmist says the blessed man is the person that is "Planted in the river of water." This river of water signifies Jesus who is the word of God. In John 15:5 Jesus said, "If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit"

Therefore, staying continually connected to Jesus through having unbroken fellowship in worship, prayers, and eating of the Word, one is rooted deeply in Him. And when we remain rooted in Christ, we will not struggle to produce fruits in our season as it will come naturally from the source because the vitality of the tree comes from the water (Jesus).

PRAYER
Father Lord, I thank you for your blessings upon my life. This day I declare that I am fruitful in all things, I have unlimited favour in Jesus name, Amen..

If there's anything the devil does not want you to do; it is to pray and if there's anything he wants you to do its to not pray. He will do anything to distract you from praying because he knows what prayer power is for you and what it does to him. Prayer is the power that turns things around in your favor, it causes a tremendous change in your circumstances, it makes the impossible to become possible in your life.
