YOU ARE A PARTAKER OF GOD'S GLORY 2


MEMORY VERSE: - Colossians 1:27 - “To whom God would have made known what is the riches of the Glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory”

God is a glorious God, therefore as His children, He has given us His glorious nature. Kind begets kind; consequently, a Glorious God begets glorious children. From the beginning, when the first humans were created, humanity was infused with the glory of God.

Through the breath of life, God’s Glorious nature and life was transfused into humanity, He imparted His exact likeness, His personality, His divine nature into them thus making them to be partakers of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).

The breath of life is the substance or the active agent that quickened the clay, transforming it into a unique being that is in the image of God. Thus through the breath of life God gave birth to humanity and implanted His glory in us. 

As a result, humanity was made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1: 27), God's breath in us is the principle of life - it is His Spirit and glory in human nature - hence, at the fall what mankind lost was the glory. 

“For all have sinned and are come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). For that reason, they lost the power to rule and reign in life, and could not exercise their dominion mandate because the power to rule is in the glory.

However, in Christ Jesus, that lost glory has been restored, thus, "as many that received Him, to them He gave power to be children of God" John 1:12. So, we have His indwelling presence in us and His presence is His glory that He shared with us.

PRAYER
Glorious Father I am grateful for being a partaker of your glory. And this day, I pray that through your power, that the light of your glory in me shines brightly in Jesus name, Amen.
