IMPORTANCE OF KNOWING WHAT BELONGS TO YOU


MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 19:41-42 - “41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes."

The Devil has robbed a lot of people of their daily benefits in life due to the fact that they do not have knowledge of what their rights in Christ are. We are told in the scripture that our heavenly Father "loads us with benefits on a daily basis." (See Psalm 68:19).

Now, if this is true and we know it is because God's word is ever true. Why then do we have a lot of believers still living in lack and want. Why do we still have so many needy among us? It is because they lack knowledge of what belongs to them in Christ. Many have been received by wrong doctrines, religion, and traditions of men. 

Jesus wept over Jerusalem because they lacked knowledge of what rightfully belonged to them. One suffers where he or she ought to enjoy because of lack of knowledge of who they are and not knowing what's rightfully theirs. People function as slaves where they ought to rule and reign over as kings as a result of not having knowledge of what's theirs.

A king in a place that doesn't know he is a king will live as a servant and be a slave to his subjects instead of ruling over them. You must understand that as a believer, "all things are yours, (See I Corinthians 3:21-22). You are the ruler and master of the earth and all its abundance.... The gold is yours, the silver is yours, the diamond is yours, the precocious stones are yours.... Prosperity is yours, success is yours, wealth and riches are yours to enjoy. Every blessing upon the earth is yours.

 PRAYER 
Glorious Father thank you for giving me all things and this day I pray that my understanding eyes be enlightened so I can know and function in its entirety in Jesus name, Amen.
