THE ENEMY YOU SEE TODAY, YOU SHALL SEE THEM NO MORE 3
THE ENEMY YOU SEE TODAY, YOU SHALL SEE THEM NO MORE 3
MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 14:13 - "And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever."
Furthermore, Moses encouraged the people to 'stand still' which is to say, 'stand firm, stand on your ground, be brave, be strong in heart.' This is the realm of unmovable faith, being confident in your God who is in your life and who is mighty. For the scripture says, "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty...." (Zephaniah 3:17).
And as a mighty God, he is not there to fold his hands and watch you perish or watch the enemy destroy your life. He will do great and marvelous things for you..... Continuing in that Zephaniah 3:17, the prophet says, "He will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest in his love, he will joy over you with singing."
So don't get anxious, nor worry about anything; stand still in your confidence in your God, then you will see him move for you in a great way. Just like our text said, "And see the salvation of the LORD". You can't see his salvation in the place of anxiety, fear and agitation, neither will you see it in the place of complaining and murmuring but only in that place of stillness in faith in the mightiness of God.
Wherefore, the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Enough of getting worried over life issues, is anything too hard for your heavenly Father to handle?
Child of God, trust in Him. Lift your eyes away from the storms and Look up to Him, for they that look unto him are never disappointed nor put to shame. Understand that no situation is there to destroy you but every challenge is for His glorification and for your lifting.
PRAYER
Be lifted o' Lord my God. Be glorified in my life and family, take your place and disappoint the expectations of the wicked over my life in Jesus name, Amen.
