MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY 3


MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 3:6 - "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life"

As members of God's family, we are to live out the kingdom life here and now. Because Jesus has brought the kingdom into our spirit. He said the kingdom of God is within us. (See Luke 17:21). For sure, it's in our heart. Yet, there are many believers who are under the oppression of the enemy (Satan the devil).

The kingdom of God has to do with God's government over a life, family, business and nation. It speaks of the reign of God or the rulership of God in a person's life.

The question now is, How much rule does God have over your life? Because wherever God rules, and wherever his will is being done his kingdom is there.

Jesus said, "But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you." Matthew 12:28. Anywhere God is showing himself to be superior in situations and in a life, then his kingdom is there.

The enemy, (Satan the devil), has been reigning in a lot of people's lives and has made life a living hell for them because they are not establishing the rulership of God over their life. He has influenced and manipulated things against them, frustrating all their efforts and making them live the low life because of their being insensitive to the kingdom of God in them. 

Such people exalt situations, sickness, poverty, and they like to be pitied and be seen as the ones that God did not favor. To access the kingdom life, you must use the authority given to you to establish it.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank you for your kingdom that is within me and this day I pray that the rulership of the kingdom overshadow my life and all that concerns me, in Jesus’ name, Amen
