BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR MOMENT 3


MEMORY VERSE: - John 17:14–16, - "have given them your Word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, ..... I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”


One of the things that stands against people from embracing their visitation time is Religious spirit. Oh, how religious spirits have robbed many of their God given blessings. It tells them they don't have right to the earthly blessings because they are not of this world. 

Wherefore, they misunderstand and misapply the scripture, taking it to mean that for the reason that we are not of this world, we do not need the blessings of God in this world. 

Recognize that Jesus said “Not of the world” it is not that we are not living in the world but that we do not belong to the world. Therefore, by saying we are not of this world, Jesus is simply saying, 'Our kingdom where we truly belong is not from this world, but from above. Our citizenship is in heaven where our Father dwells' (See Philippians 3:20).

Hence, though we are living in this world, yet, we do not conform to its systems, we do not act or carry out our activities as the worldly people do and we do not do things according to the ways and traditions of men. Rather we act in accordance with the standard and systems of the Kingdom of Heaven from where we come from. 

As God's children, we are not influenced by the world and its evil that surrounds it; rather we are in control of what we allow into our lives and environs. The power of what we want to see happen in our lives in this world is completely in our hands. For Jesus said, "I promise you God in heaven will allow whatever you allow on earth, but God will not allow anything you don't allow." (Matthew 18:18).

Therefore, we need to be sensitive to our moment and stand against the religious spirit that will want to stop us from embracing it. Always have it at the back of your mind that God wants you to have the best in this world. He wants you to succeed, He wants you to subdue and He wants you to rule and reign in life. 


PRAYER 

Thanks be to you my Lord and King for such a day as this. And in the name of Jesus I refuse to be locked out of my blessings by religious spirit, Amen!
