ESTABLISHING GOD’S WILL


MEMORY VERSE: - Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

It is important to know God's will for you but knowing is not enough, you have to also see to it that His will for your life is established.

The Will of God is His divine plan or purpose. It is what God has determined to be done or what God wants us to do. It is the concept of God having a plan for humanity, and He is desiring, longing and yearning to see this plan fulfilled. 

God’s divine Will or plan for His children is prosperity, good life, sound health and it is to enjoy pleasures in this life. Wherefore the psalmist said, “He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people” (Psalm 35:27). Actually, God loves pleasure hence it is written, “….At His right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11).

So, God never planned for His children to suffer or go through shame, reproach, poverty, lack and want but for them to enjoy His blessings on earth, thus He filled the earth with everything they need for their pleasure. 

God is unchangeable; He is unmovable, He is inflexible and consistent. Life and its uncertainties may come, but God the unchangeable One does not change and His plans to prosper and give us eternal significance stands firm.

God does not have mood swings, He never changes. In fact, it is impossible for God to change. He is eternal and from everlasting to everlasting He remains the same: there is no shadow of turning with Him. (See James 1:17).

Oftentimes, when bad things are happening around people's lives, they tend to tag it as the will of God. They make it look as though God allows only bad things to happen to His children and this is a lie from the devil. 

Child of God, your heavenly Father wants the best for you, he wants you to succeed, to achieve greatly, and to prosper. Certainly, prosperity is a good thing and it is the perfect Will of God for you and me.

On this note, our text says, God's plans for us is for good and not of evil, His plan is that we prosper and have a beautiful life. You have to establish this will of God for you in your life.

PRAYER 
Thank you Lord for your good plans for me. Give me the grace to implement and establish your perfect will for my life in the name of Yeshua, Amen!
