LIVING BY THE SPIRIT


MEMORY VERSE: - Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord".

In Christ we are not called to live by ourselves, we are to live through Him via the Holy Spirit. To live by the Spirit is to give yourself completely to the leading of the Holy Spirit: with you not allowing your human senses to interfere. It is the place where you are not living for yourself but living by faith in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Just like Paul wrote, "....I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20). Our human ability is not sufficient to achieve all that the Lord has ordained for us to achieve.

Moreover, it is not enough to conquer the devices of the wicked one, we need the presence, the enablement, the endowment, the overwhelming power of the Holy Spirit to live out our divine mandate. It is not about what you can do, but what the Holy Spirit alone will do through you. It is never by human strength, wisdom nor ability that one can lead a successful life but by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thus, we need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to go through this life gracefully. As God's children, we need to walk in the limitless power and grace of God in this present world on daily basis. Wherefore, it is expected of us to have deep relationship with the Holy Spirit who is our helper and through Him we are able to live beyond the world's difficulties and challenges.

For truly in Christ Jesus, we are called to live the triumphant life. Not a life of failure. Not a life of setbacks, Not a life of rejection nor frustration, not a life of fear but a victorious life..... We have been justified and glorified in Him thus, we reign in life. It's impossible for one to be led by the Spirit and be a failure. 

The Holy Spirit is the power to a successful life and nothing less than that. Certainly, no believer can achieve anything meaningful outside the Holy Spirit. Hence, one must submit to Him and let Him be the leader; and you wil enjoy huge success story and find rest to your soul. 

PRAYER 
Sweet Holy Spirit I thank you for your indwelling presence in me. Today I surrender all to you, live through me and lead me in all my ways, in the name of Yeshua, Amen!

The spirit inside the girl knew the truth about God’s power, and she followed them for days saying the same thing over and over.
