THE CHOSEN VESSEL PT 4


MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Timothy 2:20-21 - "But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

Beloved, understand that in this kingdom we die to live. Until you come to the end of yourself, you can never live the kingdom life. You must die to your ways, die to your self-will, die to your mindset, die to your bad attitude.

In John 12:24 Jesus said, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone [just one grain, never more]. But if it dies, it produces much grain and yields a harvest." (AMP).

You can never access your full scope of divine assignment in this world unless you die to things that are resistant to your achieving them. This is where you no longer live for yourself but for Christ. You stop living your own life and allow Christ to live through you and you live through Him.

This was the dimension that Apostle Paul lived when he said, "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 (CSB).

Listen, salvation is free but becoming a chosen vessel for the master's use will cost you something. It will cost you your self esteem. It will cost you your social life. It will cost you your independent life to be dependent on the Holy Spirit leading and control.

Child of God, prepare yourself for the Master's use, put in efforts to take out those things that will not allow you to enter into that realm in God. Just as the scripture in Proverbs 25:4 says, "Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer."

PRAYER
Father God, I thank you for this day and I by the power of your grace, I kill every self in me that has been a resistance to my becoming a chosen vessel in Jesus name, Amen!
