DON'T BE ENSLAVED BY DREAMS


MEMORY VERSE: - Numbers 12:6 - “He said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams."

Dreams are one of the ways God communicates or reveals things to us. His intentions are not to bring us fear but to prevent us from being taken unaware by the enemy and to enable us to be alert spiritually and be physically prepared through prayers. The scripture says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish...." Proverbs 29:18

If we don't get revelations through dreams or visions, we will be a prey in the mouth of the wicked. However, we must not allow dreams to rule our lives. A lot of people get worried and allow themselves to be enslaved by their dreams instead of doing something spiritual to avert it if it is a bad one or pray for manifestation if it is a good one. 

As God speaks to us through dreams so also the enemy of our faith comes to sidetrack us away from being focused on Christ and His word through dreams. Therefore we must guide against being controlled by dreams. We must not be held captive by dreams but must bring every bad dreams to the obedience of the word of God. (See 2 Corinthians 10:5).

Also, they are wicked spirits that are dream projectors, who go about manipulating and sowing evil tares into people's life through dreams. Thus, we must be spiritually sensitive and alert, we must stand in faith in God's word. 

As believers, we live by faith not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Dreams are under the category of what you see and shouldn't be the anchor of your living. Faith in God's word and in the power of the Holy Spirit is the real deal.

PRAYER:
Thank you most Holy Father for not leaving me in the ark without a vision. This day, I bring to naught every dream projected to bring me calamity in Jesus name, Amen.
