YOUR DESPISERS SHALL BOW BEFORE YOU


MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 60:14 - "The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending low to you, and all who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel."

Oftentimes, when one is going through challenging times, people look down on them, mock them, despise and reproach them. They do so because they think you are done and over with in life. 

But see what our text in Isaiah 60:14 says, "The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending low to you" In order word, the Lord will do something awesome in your life; He will bless you greatly and put you in a position that will make them come before you and bow.

When Joseph brothers were doing bad things to him, they thought it was the last they would see of him, but instead, the Lord blessed him greatly and put him in a position that was far beyond their expectations. He was greatly blessed and highly placed in the land where he was a stranger whereby his brothers came and bowed before him.

Although they despised him, saw him as insignificant, powerless, and helpless, but God turned their evil to good. Wherefore, our text went further to say, "All who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the LORD, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel." 

You may be at a point in life where things seem terrible and hopeless, today, the Holy Spirit of Jahovah God is prevailing for you, he is opening a new chapter of great and marvellous things in your life. 

He is turning things around in your favour and those who mocked you, those who despised you, those who called you names, will come bowing at your feet.

PRAYER:
Thank you heavenly Father for loving me and caring so much for me. Thank you for disappointing my mockers by turning things around for my good in Jesus’ name, Amen.

The heavenly Father has given us of His Holy Spirit help us through life journey. But most of us are not walking by Him thus He is not influencing all we do.
