ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE PT 2
ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE PT 2
MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 3:1 - "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? "
The spirit of ungratefulness and lack of contentment is of the devil. He makes you feel or believe that God hasn't done enough for you, he tells you that you deserve more than what you have and he presents God as a wicked God who does not want you to have more.
God is a good God, He is a wonderful Father and He wants His children to have the best of life, he wants them to rule and reign in life, hence, He put the man He made to be in charge of all his creations. Therefore, as a believer, you shouldn't allow the spirit of ungratefulness and lack of contentment to have its way in your life. The scripture in Ephesians 5:20 admonished us to, "Always give thanks to God the Father for everything....."
You have to intentionally practise gratitude. For there is so much to be thankful for, even all of the little things than the things that are troubling you. When you are going through some situations, don't focus your attention on it rather, you should think of the many good things that God has done for you and then meditate on them thus, you will find many reasons to be grateful and be thankful.
Don't give room for the enemy to make you feel discouraged because that is a means through which the enemy wants to use to rob you of your joy. A person who is discouraged and ungrateful always magnifies the problem instead of magnifying God for what he has done.
It's important you work on yourself on how you deal with situations, you should be in control and be positive at all times. Look beyond what's around you and see the beautiful ending of the matter and give glory to God.
You should learn from your father of faith 'Abraham'. For in-spite of all around him showing impossibility, (he and his wife were very old), there was nothing in them to show that they can have their own child, yet, he counted God faithful and rejoiced in his promises and gave glory to God.
PRAYER:
Alelluyia to you I'm Most High God. I am grateful for your love and support towards me and my family. Thank you your marvellous works in our lives in Jesus Amen.
