IF GOD BE FOR US

MEMORY VERSE - Romans 8:31 "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 

This text is letting the believer know that when God is on our side, no opposition or challenge can ultimately defeat us. For God to be for you is for Him to be in agreement with you, and to be in support of you. 

The word "If" is not a statement of doubt, but rather that of firm faith and stability of knowing that God is for us and not against us. In order word, "since" or "because" God is for us, no power of hell can be able to stand against us neither will they be able to stop us from achieving destiny. 

MSG puts it this way, "So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?" Certainly, we cannot lose because the One who is on our side is All-Powerful, The Mighty One, The Great and Terrible God, The One who is above all.

In John 10:29, Jesus told us that "the Father is greater than all" and for that reason, no man nor power can be against us nor defeat us in any form no matter how much they try.

When God is for you, things work in your favor, you will succeed where others fail. you will overcome what others couldn't overcome, and you will enjoy all round victory.

Joseph became a successful man in a land where he was not just a stranger but a slave boy because "The Lord was with him" (Genesis 39:2). The Lord was not only with Joseph but was for him, He was on his side, whereof, inspite of all his challenges, he was never defeated. 

That same God is with you, therefore, do not be afraid of anything, for he will not allow the enemy to win over you. You can never be put to shame, nor be disappointed neither can you be defeated in life.

PRAYER:
Father in heaven, blessed be your holiness. I yield myself to you and I pray that you come and take the lead in my life. I renew my commitment to you, come and be for me in Jesus’ name, Amen
