KEYS TO LIVING A SUCCESSFUL LIFE 4
KEYS TO LIVING A SUCCESSFUL LIFE 4
MEMORY VERSE: - Leviticus 6:12 - "And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings."
Another secret key to success is 'PRAYER'
For anyone to live a successful life, he or she must be a man or woman of prayer. Prayer is your oxygen. No believer can survive or succeed without prayer. Things don't just happen, people make them happen and that is being intentional. One must be intentional about success by intentionally praying for it.
People who are not intentional about things, ends up having unfulfilled dreams, visions, desires, and goals. To be Intentional is to do something on purpose; it is to be deliberate in doing something or to be willing to do something. It also means to be prepared and to plan. You must be ready to succeed by praying your way to success. Like the saying goes, If you do not plan to succeed, you have indirectly already planned to fail.
Same way, if you do not pray to succeed, you have indirectly positioned yourself for failure. The scripture in Chronicles 27:6 says, "So Jotham became mighty, because he PREPARED his ways before the LORD his God." Mark the word PREPARED. (He became Mighty, powerful, strong) This text began by letting us know who Jotham became.... He was a mighty man, a successful man, a prosperous man, a strong man, a powerful and honourable man.
But what was his secret? He did not become powerful by playing around, he was an INTENTIONAL man.... He PREPARED his way. He knew what he wanted and worked towards it by preparing.
Child of God, there's a successful life waiting for you to achieve and there is an adversary out there working hard and scheming for ways to stop you from excelling, to stop you from rising, and from having everything God has for them in this life. You must arise in prayers to stop him before he stops you.
PRAYER:
Most Holy Father, I thank you for all you have done. I this day receive strength to pray and to continue to pray until success comes in Jesus name' Amen.
