FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT


MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Timothy 4:7 - "Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses"

To fight the good fight of faith is to persevere in your faith for your divine mandate regardless of the opposition that is waging war against it. It is standing or holding firm to God's Word no matter what bombards you to doubt Him. It is maintaining a faith that does not crumble beneath the battles of life.

Furthermore, fighting the good fight of faith is deciding to contend for what's rightfully yours, it is to not allow the enemy to put you under, it is to refuse to be a victim but to live according to who Christ has made you to be and that is victorious. 

Certainly, for anyone to fulfill destiny and achieve success in this life, there is a fight to fight, this fight is not of physical weapons fight but of Faith, the Word of God, the Blood of Jesus and the Name of Jesus. Yes faith is a great weapon that defeats the enemy greatly. In Ephesians 6:16 Paul said, we use faith as a weapon to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And in verse 17 he said we use the Word as the sword of the Spirit. 

So, when the enemy comes with its schemes against you, you must rise up against him in the place of prayers with your Weapons of Faith and and the Word; declaring what the Word says concerning you, taking your place in that which Christ has done for you by his sacrifice on the cross. 

So, for us to operate in our destiny, we must put up a fight, we must resist him, wherefore the scripture says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7. To resist is to fight, to oppose, to refrain, to refuse and to withstand. Beloved, there is a destiny worth fighting for, refuse to be where the enemy wants you to be, raise a standard against him, and refuse to give up.


PRAYER: 

Jesus, I thank you for another opportunity given me to walk in my destiny; Lord I pray for grace to walk in destiny. I come against every spirit resisting me and promoting delays in my destiny in Jesus name' Amen.
