FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION Part 2


MEMORY VERSE: - 2 kings 4:1 - "Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen."

There's no failure, no lack, nor poverty in God. Jesus said they're many mansions in heaven (John 14:2). Mansions are not small houses, there are very massive and impressive houses that only the wealthy can have. Therefore, what our heavenly Father gives to us is massive blessings, success and abundance. 

Abundance in this sense is a life of overflow, a life of running over, a life full of everything you need to sustain yourself in joy and purpose and to go beyond yourself and reach out to others. Christianity is a call to live out heavenly life here in this world.

If you cannot live the abundant life here on earth, you certainly, cannot fit into heaven because the street of heaven is made with gold. And because you do not believe in such glory, you will be offended at God for living in such a glamorous life. 

The truth is that what you don't believe, you don't get. Prosperity is in your success, in your health, in your house, in your finances, in your peace and all round prosperity is God's Will for you. Job 22:21  says, “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way, prosperity will come to you.”

Furthermore, John wrote in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." When Apostle John noticed that brother Gaius was not living the kind of life that God ordained for him, he prayed for him and also made him to understand what God's will was for him.

Gaius needed to know that Christianity was not a call to failure, poverty nor infirmity but a call to all round prosperity. He needed to reprogrammed his mindset. Therefore, beloved, I pray that you will understand God's Will for you and change your mindset.

PRAYER:
Father in Jesus name, I thank you for another opportunity to glorify your name. Today I am a success, I have sound health, and am favoured, Amen!

Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” In the passage above, we can see the futility of self-reliance and the foolishness of self-sufficiency. It proves that no one can achieve anything meaningful and lasting by its own power, everyone needs backup from a higher power. This also brings to mind the scripture that says, “It is the Lord your God that gives you power to get wealth” Deuteronomy 8:18: Indeed our sufficiency is of God for it is He who gives us the grace to achieve anything in life. You may have great dreams, awesome visions and goals and you maybe doing everything within your power to reach them, but the truth is that, your human ability to achieve anything outside God's power and grace is limited.
