The enemy cannot come in unless he finds an opening and bitterness is one major opening point for him. You open the door for root of bitternessl through many ways one of which is unforgiveness. Jesus told us, “Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:25-26) Unforgiveness stands as a barrier to one's prayers. You can pray innumerable prayers, fast many days, the truth still remains that God will not hear your prayers when you have unforgiveness in your life. Our text says root of bitterness brings about defilement and we know that whoever that is defiled cannot stand before the presence of Jahovah God. You can see how dangerous it is to allow it to lay hold on you, it will dent your relationship with God and cause a separation from him.  Certainly, for us to lead a true Christian life, we must put a watch over our hearts against root of bitterness. This is why the scripture in Proverbs 4:23 says we should guard our hearts, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." To guard here is to watch, to keep in check, to be vigilant, to be alert, and to be careful. It's that opening through which they use to creep into one's finances, marriages, businesses etc and begin to destroy and if care is not taken, will wipe them out.   “Bitterness” is usually associated with anger and grudges. Therefore, once there's a root of bitterness in you, it begins to bear fruits of bitterness. BREAKING FORTH ON ALL SIDES 3 MEMORY VERSE: -  Isaiah 54:3 - "For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." In part 2 of this series we saw that we are to strategies ourselves by expanding our space. Now, why is it important that we expand our space? Verse 3 of that Isaiah 54 tells us the reason for it.... BREAKING FORTH ON ALL SIDES 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 54:3 - "For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." Another thing we need to do in order to strategies ourselves for breakthrough is found in verse 2 of Isaiah 54 , and it reads, "Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes" To enlarge here is talking about 'creating more space' 'expand your space' 'make it bigger' take out stuffs that are not needed and are occupying space, make room because Something huge is coming and you have to position yourself to receive it....  We must understand that God is not a man that is limited to what he can do and cannot do. OPENING OF THE SEALS MEMORY VERSE: - Revelation 5:1 - "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals." There are seals that are used to lock up people's lives and destinies. When this is done, it's victims struggle without head way in life. The reason for many people's hardship in life is as a result of satanic seals placed upon the work of their hands and sealing up their glory from being seen. God has already written your whole life in the book of heaven.
