DON'T QUIT TRYING


MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Chronicles 15:7 “But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”

Have you ever been disappointed when things did not go as planned? Have you been discouraged to the point of giving up all hopes? Have you ever felt that you should simply quit trying? 

Oh, there have been many times when I tried to quit but then again, I always encourage myself in the Lord and keep praying and keep moving and then, I will always be grateful to God for not quitting.

Yes, we all have great dreams and awesome goals set up to achieve them: but sometimes things get awkward and at that season, it always seems there is no way out and no solution to it all, at that stage in life, discouragement sets in and if care is not taken one could do something very silly and senseless.

 However, in any situation we may find ourselves, quitting is not an option. Those who quit never get to see the glory that awaits them at the other side of the tunnel. But those who never quit trying, those who never gave up when they are faced with disappointment, those that was down but refused to be out; are the success story of today.

You may be down but you are not out, because being down is not being out. Certainly, things will turn in your favour. Therefore, no matter how much the enemy attempts, the victory is yours because Christ has been sacrificed for you and have given you the victory already. 

Even though all appear hopeless before you today, you should never see it that way, because appearance can be very deceptive. So, don't see hopelessness rather see hope, see solution, see victory


 PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I thank you for yet another day, oh, Lord, help me in these times of challenge. Give me strength to pass through it and strengthen me with your grace to stay strong and not quit. in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
