GOD CANNOT LIE 2

MEMORY VERSE: - Numbers 23:19 - “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"

Today, a lot of people make it to look as though God is a liar, a deceiver, a Confusionist. They tell you God told them to do something today, and tomorrow they say something different. Especially if what they see does seem okay in their sight: thereby making God a liar and a deceiver. God cannot deceive you, God cannot mislead you, God cannot lie.

Stop making Him a liar, stop confusing yourself in the guise of God told me this and God told me that and you will not do as you are told. You allow your emotions, feelings and character to rub you of what God has for you. For example, someone will say God told him or her about a person to marry but in the process of their delaying, procrastinating, and looking to see if that person meets up with their personal standard, they will find fault and not continue with it. This, my friend, is disobedience to God's instructions.

This was the error of the ancient Jews that made the journey of 40 days turn to 40 years journey. God said go and possess the land but they said, "let us send spies to spy out the land for us, and in so doing, they saw the children of Anak (Giants) and they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel.... (See numbers 13). Now if they had gone in at once and taken possession as they were instructed, they would not have seen what made them fear and draw back.

We ought to obey the last command as children of God, that is to say, if God told you to do something whether it seemed right in your sight or not, you should do it. If he tells you to marry someone, whether there is an unpleasant issues with the person or not, you are to obey for God knows why He gave you that person. 

Listen, no one is perfect, but there's a reason that made God chose that person for you. You may not see at the time but in the end you will thank God.

PRAYER 

Father Lord, am sorry for not responding to your Word as instructed. Pardon my iniquities and help me to not miss it anymore n life in Jesus name, Amen.
