REST THROUGH FAITH 3


MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 4:20-21 - "No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God and he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he promised"

No one who allows things around them to have hold in their life can enter into rest. Faith does not see what's on ground but sees the unseen made real. Whenever one is looking at the unpleasant things around they will waver and become weak. They will neglect or even forget God's promises concerning them, thus they will live in fear and defeat.

Our father of faith 'Abraham ' did not waver..... That's, he didn't allow the physical situation to shake his faith. Even though what's on ground shows impossibility to actualizing God's promise, yet he was not shaken, but believed. And for that reason, the Word of God became real in his life and family, he got everything he ever desired in life and lived a well fulfilled life.

 Wherefore, the scripture had this to say about him, "..... the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things (Genesis 24:1 last part). In every areas of his life, Abraham was blessed. He lacked nothing. Everything came to play for him. 

Talk about physical blessing, he had them, talk about material blessings and possessions he was there, and every good things of life was visible in his life because he had faith in Jahovah God. Thus he had rest on every side. You also can enter into rest like Abraham did if only you can stand firm in faith.

PRAYER
Mighty God, hallowed be your name I give you all the glory for who you are. Lord, bless me indeed, cause me to have physical, material and financial blessings in Jesus name, Amen
