MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY 2

MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 3:6 - “He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”

Like I said in the part one of this topic, Jesus did not come to bring another religion but to bring sons and daughters unto the Father. 

Religion is nothing but an ideology, but relationship and family is the real thing.

Wherefore, Christ has enabled us to be children of God by the Spirit not of laws (religion). The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life. Living in religion kills but being a man or woman of relationship gives life.

What Satan is using to rob people of their right to experiencing God's full package for them is religion. 

Religion is a mock, a counterfeit, and a deception. But that which God offers us is relationship by the power of the Spirit. 

Christianity is not in religion but an experience of heaven on earth. Jesus has brought into our lives the power and the glories of heaven, He has come into us that we may live out heavenly life here on earth.

So, Christianity is in having a deep personal relationship with God. When we neglect relationship and function in religion, then we are cut off from fellowship with our Father.

   

 PRAYER

Holy Father, I thank you for releasing me from religion and bringing me into relationship with you. From this day onward, I refuse to function in religion anymore and I move forward in building a strong relationship with you, in Jesus name, Amen

Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience.
