DESTROYING THE COVERING CAST


MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 25: 7 - "And He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people and the veil that is spread over all nations.”

God is doing a work in your life. He is moving in the way that you may not understand, he is demonstrating His power in your life. He is destroying that which is not of Him and rebuilding the structure of the foundation of your life to be fashioned according to His original design. 

What is that work that he is doing? He is removing the surface of the covering cast and the veil that is spreading over you and all that is yours, the covering that has not allowed you to be seen for favours, promotions, marriage, good jobs etc. 

Our text made us understand that there was a covering cast over people and one thing about covering is that it stands as a shadow preventing good things from coming into its victims life. It covers their glory, potential and beauty.

Whenever there is a covering in one's life, such a person lives in struggle and in unproductivity. Coverings are darkness and no one can see anything in darkness except light is brought in. Coverings frustrates every effort of its victims and at the end brings them into depression.

But thanks be to God that there is hope in Christ Jesus as it is written, "But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away" 2 Corinthians 3:16. Furthermore the scripture says, "And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not. John 1:5.

Therefore dearly beloved, today, the Lord whom you have turned to is doing a mighty work in your life, He is destroying every coverings and veils that have been a form of darkness not allowing you to be seen for favours and that which is preventing you from moving to the next level.

PRAYER
Thank you father God for your the awesome work you are doing in my life, today I pray that you destroy every covering cast over my life, business and family by your power in Jesus name, Amen!
