 DIVINE SUPPLY


MEMORY VERSE: - Philippians 4 19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory"

We all have needs that we want to be met, however many are missing out the true source of our supply, thus they do so many unspeakable, dubious things to get their needs met.

According to Paul, the source of our needs supply is God through Jesus Christ. Does this mean we shouldn't work? Not at all, for it is written, "He who does not work should not eat" (2 Thessalonians 3:10). So, what is Paul teaching us in Philippians 4 19? It is for us to recognize that the Lord is the true source of our supply and we must trust in Him for all our needs and provision. 

The scripture in Proverbs 3:5-6 - says, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your parts" To acknowledge is to recognize the rights, authority, or status of a person. We need to recognise the sovereignty of God over all things and in all our endeavours we are to trust him.

Your supply is not from men, nor from yourself, nor from any quarter under the heavens, but from God. Certainly, no one can supply all your needs except God. Man can only give you limited supply within his or her limited capability and capacity. However, God will supply all your need because He has the resources to do so.


PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I thank you for being my supplier, I ask that you supply all my needs, according to your bountiful and limitless riches in glory in Jesus name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience.
