BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR SEASON

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR SEASON MEMORY VERSE: - Mark 13:33 - “Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.” Many are praying but they are not alert to when the response to their prayer comes. Be ready for the answers to your prayers, be alert to recognize it when it comes and be humble enough to grab it when it comes in the package that you don't expect or when it comes through the doors different from the one you wanted it to come through.  Matthew 24:44 tells us, "For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.” Beloved oftentimes, our answers come at unexpected hour and from direction we do not expect, this is why we must be vigilant. There is a time set for every one of us and it’s important we are alert so that when it comes, we will not miss it. Matthew 24:50 says, “The master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and

YOU ARE PRECIOUS TO GOD

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational YOU ARE PRECIOUS TO GOD MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 6:30 - “But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" In Matthew 10:30 Jesus said, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." And furthermore in Luke 21:18 He said, "And a hair of your head shall in no wise perish." With all of this promises, what more confirmation do we need to know that our heavenly father cares about our well being.  God cares so much for you and I to the point that He even have to give up His only begotten son for us. And if He could do that much for us while we where yet far from him in our errors, how much more now that we are reconciled with him and in Him?  The scripture in Romans 8:32 tells us, "He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"

GET KNOWLEDGE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational GET KNOWLEDGE MEMORY VERSE: - 2Timothy 2:15 - “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Knowledge is power. Knowledge gives you insight. Our memory verse admonished us to 'study'. What does it mean to study? It is to look at something closely in order to observe or read it. It is to devote one's time and attention to gaining knowledge of something especially by means of books or close relationship.  Now, if you are representing an organization and you don't have a comprehensive knowledge of them, you will misrepresent them. Certainly, you can't represent well if you do not know in detail the organization or nation you are representing. Same way, you can't represent Christ well if you do not have a comprehensive knowledge of Him. We are well informed that we are Christ ambassadors in 2 Corinthians 5:20.... As such, you must study who you are represe

START MOVING

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational START MOVING MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 14:15 - "And the Lord said unto Moses, wherefore criest thou unto me: speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward" A lot of people are praying, making declarations of God's word, thinking big but are not ready to make a move. So, the issue we are having in the church today is people who are not wanting to move, instead, they are waiting for God to come down from heaven and move them. Anyone one waiting for that will wait forever because God is also waiting for you to move so he can manifest his glory through you.  God's glory will not manifest in one's life until he or she does something. It was not until Jesus turned water into wine that they said he manifested his glory. "This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him." John 2:11 . God wants to show forth His glory through you but how can he do that

LIVING OUT THE WORD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational LIVING OUT THE WORD MEMORY VERSE: - James 1:22 - "Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only” They are many who frequently hear the word, but are unwilling to live out the word. the word means nothing to them, they take it as ordinary and go about their usual ways of life. God's word is not ordinary for it is spirit, living and full of power. Now, James further says that when we are only hearers, we deceive our own selves. It is a terrible thing for anyone to deceive himself or herself. It’s one thing to know the truth, and another thing to live the truth and make the truth relevant to your life. It is good to know but it is much better to apply what you know into your life: for what is the essence of knowing if not to build and remold our lives. It is the doers that are made perfect. The scripture says, “For not the hearers of the law (word) are just before God, but the doers of the law are justified” Romans 2:13. Everyone wants to enjoy free

REST FROM TOILING

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational REST FROM TOILING  MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 41:51 - “And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.” Opposite of rest is restlessness.... Confusion.... Agitation.... Commotion.... Unrest.... Instability.... Stress. But the rest we are dealing with here is rest from toiling; which is to make great efforts without results.  We read about Peter and friends who experienced such toiling. Luke 5:5 tells us, “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net.” For anyone to rest from toiling, he or she must be endued with grace; for it is grace that will help you, carry you, and favour you in life.  Grace gives you rest. Grace brings you success. Grace makes things work. Grace makes your way easy and fast. Grace makes you to be ahead of your contemporaries. Grace is the enablement

GIVE HIM NO REST

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   GIVE HIM NO REST MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 62: 6, 7 - “…Ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Our text brings us a call unto prayers. As God’s children, we must not be silence, but must be a praying people. Our heavenly Father is never tired to listen to us neither is He displeased with us for being earnest in prayers. We are to wrestle as Jacob did, and not let him rest until He rest upon us the blessings. And like the saying goes, 'a closed mouth is a closed destiny'. Thus we must not keep silence, but must be persistent, demanding, determined, unrelenting with Him as the widow with the unjust judge did in Luke 18:1. Yes! We are to be ceaseless, unremitting, nonstop and never give up in prayer. Even as Paul admonished us in 1Thessalonias 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.” What is it that have been a burden to you? What is that dream, that desire
