THE TEACHING OF GRACE MEMORY VERSE: - Titus 2:11-12 - “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." The believer is not obligated to live under the law but through grace. The law was to last only until Christ comes, now, since Christ has come, the law it's no more effective. Galatians 3:19 says, "Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come." Now, the promise has come in the person of Jesus, hence, the believer must stop bonding himself or herself under the law. They are to live in grace and enjoy the liberty that grace provides. The Law did not make the ancient Jews right that was why God sent us His grace to do what the law could not do. Wherefore, grace has wrought in us that which the law couldn't do for them.
