HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD MEMORY VERSE: - Colossians 3:3 - "For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God." (AMPC) Coming into Christ Jesus brings us into the divine family. We become God's children. And so, Galatians 3:26 says, "In Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ" So, as God's children, we are brought under His protection. It is impossible for the enemy to harm us because of the father's protection that we have. Wherefore, our memory verse tells us that we are hidden in Christ inside God.  This is not something of the future, it is definitely not when we die, but right now we are living inside of Him. We are joined to Jesus Christ and He is joined to God the Father as a result, it is impossible for the wicked to harm us because they will have to deal wit...

GENERATIONAL REWARD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational GENERATIONAL REWARD MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 112:2 - "Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed" The righteous is not Blessed alone but his or her generation are wrapped up in the blessings. I love this line where our text says, "the generation of the upright will be blessed" It pays to be a child of God. He has brought us into His Divine family to enjoy continuous blessings. When we genuinely worship God in spirit and in truth, we enjoy generational reward. Certainly, no one who worships God in spirit and truth is left unrewarded. God rewards up to generations yet unborn. Regarding Enoch in Genesis 5:24, the scripture says. "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Now, the phrase 'He was not' means he did not die, God took him alive to live with Him in heaven. Now, while Enoch was rewarded with life with God in heaven, his son Methuselah was the lon...

MAINTAIN A LIVING CONNECTION WITH GOD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational MAINTAIN A LIVING CONNECTION WITH GOD MEMORY VERSE: - John 15:4 - " Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." Every vision or goal that is connected to one's purpose is achievable as long as one has God by his or her side. All you need to do in order to achieve is to continually stay connected to God who alone is the source of our success in life. The heavenly Father has given us the Holy Spirit to help and guide us in all our ways. Wherefore, there is need for you to maintain a living connection with the Holy Spirit that you may be fruitful in all your ways. When something is living, it is active, it has life in it. So, living connection is active connection.   To maintain a living connection with God, you need to develop a relationship with Him. Secondly, spend time with Him through prayer and by reading His word. The greatest way to create...

DON'T GIVE LEFTOVERS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational DON'T GIVE LEFTOVERS MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 4:3-4 - "In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions.” Giving God our best should be our top priority. Cain and Abel both brought offerings to God from their products, but while one's offering was accepted, the other was rejected. Yes! God accepted only Able's offering but rejected that of Cain. “And the LORD had regard for Abel and his offering, but for Cain and his offering he had no regard” (Gen 4:5). Why was Cain's offering rejected? Abel did not only give God the firstborn of his flocks, He gave God his very best. Cain, on the other hand, gave a sacrifice that wasn’t respected by God. Cain keep the best for himself and gave God his rotten produce. In other words, he gave God his leftovers, the ones he wasn't in need of. And God said to him, “If you do well, ...

GOD TAKES PLEASURE IN YOUR PROSPERITY

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational GOD TAKES PLEASURE IN YOUR PROSPERITY MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 35:27 - "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant" (KJV) When we here the word ' Prosperity ' the first thing that crosses over our mind is money. And of course money is a good thing, everyone needs it, however, prosperity is beyond money but in our total well being.  Now, the dictionary defines prosperity as a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial aspects; and good fortune. But biblical prosperity is about your whole well-being, this includes physical blessings, sound health, joy and peace. Wherefore, the Lexham English Bible translation renders Psalms 35:27 this way, "Let them shout for joy and be glad, who delight in my vindication; and let them say continually, “Yahweh is great, who delights in the...

GOD IS A RESTORER

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational GOD IS A RESTORER MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 23:3 - "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." God is a restorer of all things. He wants to restore double to you that which the enemy has stolen from you. Thus, the scripture in Zechariah 9:12 says, "Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." God doesn’t just restore all things, He makes things better, whole, and stronger. When things are not working in your life, your soul will be down cast, but when the Lord makes things to start working again, then your soul will be lifted in joy. When your finances are flowing and flourishing, business is moving well, home is having peace and tranquility, your soul is quickened and back to life again. And so, God restores any things that needs to be restored. So, what have you lost in life? What has the enemy stolen from you? What's...

OVERCOMING THROUGH FAITH

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational OVERCOMING THROUGH FAITH MEMORY VERSE: - 1 John 5:4 - "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." In Hebrews 11:1, we are made to understand that faith is a substance. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  Now, what is substance? Dictionary definition says, _ "It is the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence." 2. It is the ultimate reality that underlies all outward manifestations and change" Therefore, faith is the reality in which the manifestations of all our desires and request lies. Faith is the energizing force that brings about the reality of the desired victory.  And so, our memory verse tells us that, "whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and that the victory is rooted in our faith." The victory is not found ...
