MOVE FORWARD

MEMORY VERSE: - Deuteronomy 1:6, 7 “You have dwell in this mountain long enough. Turn and take your journey.”

So many people have stayed in one place for a very long time due to their inability to handle the challenges that came their way well. Year after year it is still same old story, and the worst part of it is that they are not doing anything to come out of it.

 At a point in the journey of the people of Israel to the promise land, when they got to Horeb they relaxed, and stayed there for a long period than expected. Horeb became a comfort zone for them and they were settling there until the Lord had to call them up. "You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey……”

You may have been hurt, disappointed, wounded and now the pain won't go away. You can't seem to get over it, beloved, it is time to move on with your life. You have mourned over that issue for too long, God wants you to move on, turn around, take your journey of destiny for there are greater things ahead for you.

Therefore, whatever or whosoever that is in your life that will not allow you to move forward need to be cut off so that you may move to the next level in life. There comes a time in ones; life when he or she realizes that it is time to come out of a particular circle in life and move forward! 

Child of God, it is time to move forward, you have dwelt long enough in that place of mourning, you have dwelled in the mountain of anger and hatred for too long, you have dwelled in that place of unproductivity for too long, now! It’s time to turn and take your journey to the next level.


PRAYER

Precious Jesus, I thank you for yet another day, and today, I let go all that has held me in one position, I drop every pain, anger, hatred, and everything that is holding my life down to one place in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
