ABUNDANCE VS EMPTINESS 2

MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 36:8 - “They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house”

Being in Christ breaks you out of mediocre life and brings you into an exceptional, full and abundant life. You may come empty but you are not left the same way you came; His power breaks the yoke of emptiness and fills you with His surplus. He always fills every emptiness with good things and fills them to overflow. The scripture in Psalm 107:9 says, "For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things." Halleluiah!

Our opening text says God’s children “shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of His house” Note the two key word there, “Abundantly” and “Fatness”. Fatness speaks of bountiful, overflowing, and plenteous. Our Heavenly Father abundantly satisfies us with the bountiful because He is the owner of everything both in heaven and in the earth; (See Psalm 24:1). As a result, we are not exempted from the treasures in the world, the blessings of the earth belongs to you and I.

Interestingly, none of His children is to lack anything good. Because God wants the best for us, He gives us the best, which is, “The fatness of His house”. He abundantly satisfies all our desires that are in line with His will for us and He quenches our thirst and meets all our needs; as such, we do not live in lack and want but in His divine provisions of more than enough and be mighty upon the earth.

Long ago, David understood that those who belong to the Lord God almighty are to be mighty upon the earth because they are more superior to the people of the world hence, he said in Psalm 112:1, 2 "Blessed is the man that fears the Lord.... His seed shall be mighty upon the earth" You are that man or woman who is to be mighty upon the earth David was talking about.

PRAYER

Father Lord, I am grateful for the life you’ve given to me in the Son. Now, am no longer empty handed but filled with the fatness of your house. Therefore blessings are surrounding me on every side in Jesus’ name, Amen
