 ABUNDANCE VS EMPTINESS

MEMORY VERSE: - GENESIS 1:2-3 “The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of the Lord was hovering over the surface of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."

No one who comes to Christ is made small, remain small or end in smallness; neither are they made to be void or empty. Jesus does not make anyone empty. I’ve heard people say that in Christ they are empty in this world. Oh, they even sing it as a worship song - “Empty handed but alive in your hands.” Well, you couldn't be having real life in emptiness, that's a mediocre life.

Now this is where many of us misjudge and miss-understand who God truly is. How can we believe that all we could have in Christ is emptiness? Do you not know that to be empty is to be void of blessings?

 How can a child of a great God, the one who owns everything in heaven and in the earth be empty, lacking and impoverished in life? It is an error. 

You are brought into abundance in Christ and not into emptiness. In John 10:10 Jesus said, “I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” To have something in abundance is to extremely, plentifully, or over-sufficiently have something in quantity. It is to be in the state of having more than enough, or having very large quantity of something.

You can have abundance of knowledge, abundance of possessions, abundance of silver or gold etc. As God’s child, you are automatically brought into His inheritance blessings of abundance. The provision for abundance is made available for all His children and this includes you. For the scripture says “God is not a respecter of persons” (Acts 10:34),

 PRAYER

Holy Father I thank you for bringing me into life in abundance, no one3 in you is empty so I refuse to be empty and void in life, I enter into the realm of overflow in Jesus’ name, Amen
