 LUNCH INTO THE DEEP 2


MEMORY VERSE: Luke 2:5 - “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net.”

We saw in verse 4 of that chapter that Jesus told Peter to 'lunch into the deep' Now! that was an instruction or an idea that was to bring a turnaround of events from toiling. Beloved, all you need for your next level is an instruction or an idea from the Lord. You need him to tell you what you have to do in order to be ahead of your contemporaries. 

Just one idea will silent many years of toiling and fruitless efforts. And most importantly, acting in accordance to that instruction will bring you into it's manifestation.

God has given us His Holy Spirit to lead us in all aspects of life. He is the one to instruct us in the way to go about things, therefore it's important you submit yourself to His leading like Peter submitted himself to Jesus in complete obedience to His Word even when it wasn't convince for him. Functioning outside the help of the Holy Spirit is struggling. Grace works mightily in the life of one who is submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit. 

The reason for Peter's actualization of the instruction given to him was his acting as he was told. For he said, “Nevertheless at thy Word I will let down the net.” In spite of all negativities that surrounded them, yet Peter gave heed to the instructions of Jesus.

Now, as a result of that obedience there was a great breakthrough, they caught fishes in one moment more than they have ever caught all their life. Thus, they which toiled all night began to beckon on others to come and share out of their abundance, for they experienced so much to the point of their nets breaking. There sure will be a turnaround of events in your life, if only you will listen to the Spirit leading.

Father in the name of your son Jesus’ I worship and adore you, and this day I ask that you give me that instruction that will take me to the next level in life. I also pray that you give me grace to act accordingly, Amen
