 MAKING GOD YOUR SOURCE


MEMORY VERSE: - Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

At the time when I and my family were going through some very difficult time, a period when all hopes was lost, and all was gloomy it seemed as though God has forgotten us and that God does not give good things to His children.

 But in the midst of it all, we never lose our trust in Him, we continue to ask of Him in prayers to intervene and change our situation and He did not disappoint us. We made Him our source of supply for every need, we trusted Him for every detail of our life and we are still doing that till date. 

We did so because we have come to know that God gives the best and His gifts has eternal value. Truly the Heavenly Father always gives good things to His children. Wherefore Psalm 84:11 says "No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Thus we made God our source.

Listen, as a child of God, the world is not your source of supply, understand that whatever the world gives have no eternal value and it can be taken away but anything the world didn't give you, it can't take from you. 

When God is your source, you live a life of favour. You don't depend on your salary but on divine supply. So, let God be your source. Let Him give you success, spouse, possessions, good health etc. Trust Him with your life and believe Him for even the smallest details of your life.


 PRAYER 

I reverence and worship you Most Holy Lord. And I pray that you be my source of supply. Let your favor rest upon me and all that I do in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
