NO MORE SAME


MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 10:11 "For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”


This topic reminds me of an old hymn...

 “Christ hath redeemed us;”

Praise to His name! 

Praise Him, ye angels in glory;

“Christ hath redeemed us,” bearing our shame;

Tell out the wonderful story.


Hallelujah.... Yes he bore our shame in His body, He took it along with many other of our infirmities to the cross and there! Yes, right there on the cross shame was crucified, shame died and shame was buried with Him in the tomb so that all those who would receive Him will no longer suffer shame of any kind.

This was declared many years ago by Isaiah the prophet, "Fear not; you will no longer live in shame. Don't be afraid; there is no more disgrace for you. You will no longer remember the shame of your youth and the sorrows of widowhood." Isaiah 54:4. And today because of what Christ has done for us, this scripture has come to play out in our lives, so, there's no more shame.

Therefore beloved, no more shame for you, assuredly shame have no power or dominion over you any more for in the place of shame is double honour. For you have been made honourable as it is written, "Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable" Isaiah 43:4.

Furthermore, Isaiah 61:7 said, "Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy."


 PRAYER

 Thank you Lord for taking shame away from me, thank you for giving me double honour in the place of shame, and thank you for everlasting joy. Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
