THE WORD MADE FLESH

MEMORY VERSE: - 1 John 1:1-2 - “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it....."

Christianity is not in theory but something to be experienced. God's Word is not in words only but in it's reality in our lives. Wherefore, John wrote, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14.

The Word was made flesh means that the Word became real, it became something that could be seen and touched. It was no longer a promise but a living entity. You need to have an experience of God's promise in your life. God himself wants to perform all his promises to you, all you need is to trust him and have faith. In Genesis 21, God fulfilled His promise to Abraham. Sarah gave birth to the promised seed (Isaac). And so, the Promise was made flesh in Isaac.

We saw the case of Elizabeth wife of Zachariah, who was called barren, but a day came that God turned their story around and she gave birth to her first child. As Elizabeth held her son (John), she could see the reality of the promise of God right there in her hands, it was no longer a Bible story but a living entity. Thus she beheld the glory of God, touched the glory and handled the glory. And so, the promise (Word) was made flesh and dwelled with her and her husband.

Mary the mother of our Lord and savior Jesus, also saw the Word Made flesh. First He was formed in her womb and eventually was given birth to, wherefore the Word was made flesh, and she saw with her eyes and handled with her hands the glory of God. These all beheld his glory.... You can also experience the glory of God if you believe it's possible.

PRAYER

Holy Father, thank you for your promises, this day I ask that you cause everyone of them to be made flesh in my life in Jesus’ name, Amen
