 YOU ARE A GOOD SEED


MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 1:28 - “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

In Matthew 13, the scripture told us the story of a famer who sowed good seeds in his farm. As a born-again child of God, you are a seed that have been positioned or planted in the world (Field) to dominate, subdue, rule and reign in it.

 No matter where you are positioned or how terrible the location might seem, you cannot fail. The Spirit of the Lord dwelling in you will always cause you to prosper, hence you should not be afraid to take bold steps, take actions, take risk and you will prosper in that field where you are planted or positioned.  

Because the Spirit of the Lord dwells in you, you are set as a magnet for favor which causes you to succeed in a place where others are failing. We see it happened in the life of Joseph, because of the presence of the Lord with Him, he was a successful man and he succeeded in the land where he was a captive. 

And so, Genesis 39:2 says, “And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man” And for his sake, the Lord blessed Potiphar’s house; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.

Isaac prospered also in the Land where there was famine because the presence of the Lord was with him. And the scripture says, “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great” Genesis 26:12-13. Beloved, Since God was not to sow you in the field, I see no reason why you wouldn't succeed in that field because God who put afraidyou in the field is with you. 


 PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank you for planting me in the field for success. I pray that by the Spirit of your grace, you cause me to prosper in all that I do in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience.
