THE PRAYER OF FAITH 2

MEMORY VERSE: - Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

They are two points I need us to see here... 1. Believe that God exist.... 2. Believe that he is a rewarder (He answers prayer).

 One can believe that God exist (even the devils believe and trembles): yet doesn't believe that He can produce the expected result to their prayer. This is where hypocrisy lies. Thus they belittle Him, disrespect Him, see Him as weakling and incapable.

The only thing that we can do to please God is exercising faith in him. If we do not please God how shall we even think we will receive anything from him. Do you not yet understand that a faithless prayer is on same scale as that of a sinners prayer that is an abominations to the Lord? Paul tells us that "Anything done outside faith is sin" (Romans 14:23).

To see God as incapable is a sin, to belittle Him is a sin, to be a hypocrites or a pretender who pray but do not see God doing what he or she ask for is a sin. It's important we change our perception on the capability of God, we must see Him as He is; 'The Almighty God' the one with whom all things are possible. The prayer answer God, the great rewarder. Yes! Our heavenly Father rewards us with the good things of life


 PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I believe that you exist and that you are also a prayer answering God. I want to thank you for answering all my prayers, and for rewarding me with good things of life q in Jesus name, Amen.

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
