A LIVING SACRIFICE 3

MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 12:1 - “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.”

Paul further admonished us in this Romans 12:1 to also offer ourselves as a 'HOLY SACRIFICE' Although God called us out of unworthiness and made us holy, however He demands that we continue in the part of holiness. 

Wherefore He said, "Be ye holy, for I the Lord I am holy" [1 Peter 1:16]. Furthermore, in Hebrews 12:14 Paul declared affirmatively, "Without holiness no man can see God." Oh everyone wants to go to heaven, we all want to behold our heavenly father one day face to face: but how many are willing to do the needful? How many are willing to pay the price and be holy?

Holiness is not an option, but a necessity and a command. It is part of the requirement for us to be true worshipers of God. So, we must wage war against the flesh in order to maintain the holiness that has been added to us; hence we must have maintainability culture and mindset. 

Today there is a call for us to return back to basics, let us make ourselves ready and an holy sacrifice unto our God so that we may offer unto Him a worthy offering of our praise. 


 PRAYER 

Most Holy Father, I thank You for the seed of holiness planted in me, and by your grace, I break loose from every lifestyle that defiles and does not fit into my union with you in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
