EVERYTHING GOOD IS YOURS


MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 84:11 - “No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
 
It is so How comforting to have this verse reminding us that the Lord is pleased to bless us with good as long as we are walking with Him rightly. 

The word 'Good' in this passage means: pleasant, wealth, beautiful, cheerful, best, ease, kind, loving, precious, welfare, favoured. While the word 'Withhold' means: deny, keep back, refrain, restrain. Now according to God's promises, He will not, never in any way hold back or refrain anything good from coming to you.  

In order word whatsoever good things of life that you desire, when you ask in prayers the Lord will not deny you of it. This is because "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning". James 1:17

So, the Psalmist says God is a sun and shield, which describes both the brightness of His presence and His protection over us. He radiates love and will not hold back anything good from us. Therefore walk uprightly and you shall experience the goodness of the Lord on every side.

PRAYER
Thank you heavenly Father for not holding back good things from me. Today I receive into manipulation all the good things with my name tag on it in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
