 PRAYER HABIT

MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 6:18 - "With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints"

A lot of people pray only when they are faced with challenges. They don't see reasons why they should pray when things are going well with them. We are commanded to "pray without ceasing...." 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

That is, No relenting.... No wearing.... No fainting.... No loosing faith but consistency in prayers. Therefore, we must form prayer habit. Learn to pray in all whether... In good times and in challenging times.

Be a man or woman who consistently have fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Understand that it is that unbroken fellowship that keeps you under the shadow of the Almighty. It bonds you in one union with the father, Son and Holy Spirit.

It opens up your gifting. It puts you ahead of your contemporaries. It opens up the treasury of revelation and ideas that keeps you ahead of others. So, Keep your spirit active with prayer habit.

 

PRAYER 

Heavenly Father, I repent of my none wrong attitude towards my prayer life. And this day I ask that you quicken my prayer life by your Spirit in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
